Late O.P. Ahuja with over 50 years experience in the Travel & Tourism Industry, started his    career with Indian Student Travel Service as a hobby and later joined Mercury Travels as an Consultant and then launched Holiday Maker in 1974.He has been the doyen of the Travel & Tourism Industry within India and abroad. He was the President of the Indian Association of Tour Operators from 1989-93-the largest apex body of the Tour Operators in India. Besides Vice Chairman of PATA (India) Chapter in the 90s, Vice Chairman of Indian Tourism Human Resource Development Committee –a Joint South Asia initiative supported by European Commission etc. He was also in the Advisory Board of various Universities.
He was awarded the “Hall of Fame “by the then Prime Minister of India Shri P.V.Narsimha Rao for his contribution to travel and tourism industry.
