Day 1 :   Arrive Dibrugarh ex-Delhi/Kolkata. Received at the airport and transfer to a heritage Chang Bungalow (14kms/30mins) in the midst of a rolling tea garden. After lunch we take you for a tea tour around a tea estate to learn all about tea – its origin, how it is grown and all about tea tasting and quality. Evening join in a dance performance by an ethnic Assamese Bihu dance group in the bungalow lawns. Overnight at the Chang Bungalow.

 Day 2 :   After early breakfast we get ready for a day trip to Digboi (80kms/2h). Enroute we stop at the Tai Phake village (56kms/1h) – an ethnic village, kith and kin of the Ahoms who ruled Assam for 600 years and still maintaining their age old culture – a village to explore. At Digboi, the first oil town of South Asia, we visit the Oil Museum and pay homage at the 2nd World War Allied Forces Cemetery where 200 graves are permanently maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. We return to Dibrugarh late afternoon after having our packed lunch. Enroute we see the Bells Temple where there are over two lacs  brass bells. Evening relax in the Chang Bungalow after a long day out and stay overnight.

 Day 3 :  After an early morning cup of tea we drive to the river front and take a boat cruise in the mighty Brahmaputra in a country boat. Enjoy the cruise and sight flocks of migratory water birds and the elusive Gangetic River Dolphins. We reach Rukmini Island resort in the midst of the Brahmaputra where we have our breakfast in the lounge with a beautiful view of the outer Himalayas. Return to mainland and after lunch at a heritage Chang Bungalow we leave Dibrugarh and drive to Kaziranga National Park (220kms/5h). Evening relax at Bon Habi Resort  where we stay overnight.

 Day 4 :  Early morning we go for an Elephant back safari in the central range of the park followed by a jeep safari after breakfast in the western range of the park. Afternoon after lunch we visit the eastern range of the park by jeep. Overnight at the resort.

 Day 5 :   After breakfast option to drive to by jeep and visit the central range of the park or take a nature walk in the Panbari range of the National Park. After lunch depart for Dibrugarh. Enroute we stop at Sibsagar (140kms/3h). At Sibsagar we see the ruins of Ahom Monuments and visit the Shiva Temple, believed to be the tallest of all Hindu Temples in existence. Overnight at the Chang Bungalow.

 Day 6 :   Fly to onward destination.
